Papaya Love

This papaya grew in our yard on our tree. What a surprise to see a perfect shaped heart inside instead of the normal round seed group!

Here's your island drink to go with your salad

Many drinks are garnished with orchids. These orchids are edible, believe it or not! I never eat them, but my partner likes to show-off to friends and visitors by eating one.... much to their surprise and sometimes horror.

A Wailea Lunch

A popular lunch here in the Islands is fresh upcountry greens with fresh Mahimahi fish lightly tossed with salad dressing. This is best for those that want to look "hot" in their swimwear.

Owl Guards

Owl sculptures are often placed around outdoor restaurants to scare the small birds away. Guess what? It doesn't work! :-) Or maybe just some of the time!
